All about Turkey e-Visa
The Turkey e-Visa is an official electronic travel permit issued by the Turkish Government to citizens of certain countries. Thanks to the electronic visa system, travelers from eligible countries no longer need to visit an embassy in person to obtain a visa for Turkey.
Eligible travelers can obtain a Turkish visa online using any electronic device with a stable Internet connection. Every applicant needs to have a valid passport, means of online payment as well as a few additional documents that may vary depending on the nationality.
After maximally 3 business days (on average within 19 hours), an applicant will receive the approved Turkey visa in the email inbox.
The visa fee may be either 69,99 or 129 Euro, depending on the applicant's nationality.
Turkey e-Visa characteristics
Your nationality determines what type of visa you can apply for. Turkey e-Visa can be issued either as a:
- single-entry visa for a stay of up to 30 days
- multiple-entry visa for a stay up to 90 days
Regardless of the type of Turkish visa and your nationality, you may use it for business or tourism purposes. You will need to contact the nearest Turkish Embassy and obtain a regular visa for any other travel purposes.
Turkey Visa Application Form
The Turkish visa application is very straightforward and intuitive. Start by going to the application panel, and next follow these simple steps:
- Fill out the online form: provide the necessary details, including standard personal data, travel information, passport details as well as an email address. Carefully check whether all the information provided is error-free.
- Attach supporting documents: after selecting your nationality, you may be asked to upload a few additional documents. All the details will be shown when filling out the form.
- Cover the processing fee: use your credit/debit card or other valid online payment means and pay the service fee.
- Check your inbox: after covering the processing fee, go to your email and check for the confirmation number, which is necessary to check the progress of your e-Visa application.
- Receive your e-Visa: the approved Turkey visa will also be delivered to your email inbox. As soon as you receive your e-Visa, print it out, and don't forget to take its copy for your trip!
The processing time may take up to 3 business days. Nevertheless, our applicants can often enjoy the earlier approval of their visa application. On average, it takes only 19 business hours! Remember to refresh your email inbox!
e-Visa Turkey requirements
Standard documents
No matter the country you are coming from, you will always need:
- a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of the planned entry to Turkey
Supporting documents
Nationals of certain countries may need to upload some additional documents, including:
- a return ticket
- hotel reservation
- a round trip booked with one of the Turkish airlines
